Yeah I actually stopped running the Skyway years ago. I would rather trip plan to hit 294 at 0300-0500 than to mess with down town. But years ago when I did run it I didn't have a problem getting reimbursed for it. Sorry If I wasn't clear. I was trying to say that they pay for the few tolls you may have to come out of pocket for without hesitation.

Thanks for the info team. From what I have read about Maverick in most of these threads are good. I'm sure they are no different than most companies. You have to take the good with the bad. Most of the time the good outweighs the bad. Thanks again for all the info.

I am hoping to become a Maverick the first of the year. Submitted my app today and spoke with a recruiter. As a Marine I was use to doing all the flatbedding as it was my primary duties, along with giving the enemy the maximum opportunity to die for his country.

I am a recent CDL grad but did also list my Marine Corps tractor-trailer experience of 19 years on my app.
I am open to any and all information any of you may have on Maverick that would make me a better employee with them.Last edited: Dec 10, 2009
