Hello from Kentucky. Land of Bluegrass and Horses and recently, too much snow... After being an O/O for almost 10 years, my husband branched out and expanded about a year ago. We are at 4 trucks personally owned with drivers and additionally, we operate a branch of a larger company. 11 O/O trucks are dispatched out of our place where we move about 40 loads per week. We have several direct shippers and have utilized some load boards to help with the backhaul. Always trying to make those contacts!! Oh, did I mention-we are flat bed (straight and covered wagon) and conestoga even a couple of drop decks. Some of our O/O are dyed in the wool steel haulers while others can't get enough of those machines and dies.
