Just joined here, but I have been driving something for a living for 36 years!

Started out in an AMC Gremlin delivering auto parts, moved on to construction lumber deliveries to builders and home owners including boom truck and millworker box trucks, then on to dump trucks, septic pumper, and Tagalog trailers for a dozen or so years. Graduated to a hardwood lumber mill and drove straight trucks, flatbeds, sea containers, lobbed trailers, and walking floors. Missed about 10 years of my kids growing up,so when a local job that was literally half the hours, but more money I moved on to roll off dumpster work and have been there ever since!
I have dragged over weight, over sized, over length loads! run over hours, snuck around scales, and been caught at one time or another doing them all! Drove fast, had accidents, saw a lot of the eastern half of the US,and quite a bit of Canada.
Now I go to work at 5am and usually head home by 2ish,5 days a week!
Slid into a new Peterbuilt just this week!
388 triaxles with a 485 Cummins and an 8 speed.
plenty of time these days for my hobbies of hunting and fishing!

    Chinatown Thanks this.
