You should be fine. Only thing that will screw you is if you get negative temps for about a week with no snow. If if gets cold after snow, you should be fine. The snow acts like an insulator. I wouldnt loose sleep over it.

Both sides on my new to me FLD are busted. The salvage yard has only 7 of these trucks and only one had the right size but the mounting was different and only one side was there. So I may be forced to buy new. Only place I have found them

If freezing water pipe is a concern on the extreme cold days open a tap to keep a small trickle flowing. In some old barns up here in Canada that’s what the farmers do .

Heat works. I got to get a Tstat tomorrow when I go to town. But it fires up and shuts down like it’s supposed to. It had some serious rats nests inside of it.
