My flat had greased hubs. Never seen any tell tail signs of an issue till I noticed odd tire wear. Outside bearing went bad, and no alerts from the seal leaking.
They last a good while, but I learnt to check the remaining hubs periodically till they were all gone…singlescrewshaker, shooter19802003, Ruthless and 1 other person Thank this. -
All new door seals, window felts and sleeper vents gasket. All international parts.
Looking for a cheaper alternative for boot box gaskets.singlescrewshaker, Ezrider_48501, Rugerfan and 12 others Thank this. -
OLDSKOOLERnWV Thanks this.

Well I wouldn’t call them cheap… dealer wanted about $750. Rounded them up myself for a little over $500.
I guess when you consider $4.99 fuel cheap it is?
More trying to kill some noise than anything. Less cold air coming in would be nice too.singlescrewshaker, Rugerfan, Dave_in_AZ and 4 others Thank this. -

I bought both sides, but after I did the driver side, I didn't feel the need to crack open the passenger door. New glass, felt, and regulator, yet my driver side window still rattles when down 2-3" .
For your boot box doors, check out McMaster. I got my hood/cowl rubber strip, and frame rail edge protector there.singlescrewshaker, Rideandrepair, Oxbow and 1 other person Thank this. -
New year’s update.
Just finished up the best revenue year yet. Over 1.4 million miles on the truck now. Trailer holding up well. New unitized wheel hubs up front along with new tie rods and drag link. New rubber all around. Cut off doing well and drive tires wearing perfectly.
Looking for new seats and would like to complete a sleeper remodel (sink and wood floors and new mattress) this spring.
The rear structure on the motor is starting to weep oil so I’m sure I’ll have to fix that before summer gets here?
Hope you all had a great last year and are looking forward to a better 2023!!!larry2903, Flint1, Geronimo17 and 19 others Thank this. -
Well I passed 1.7 million miles on this last week on a 2900 mile round. Not a care in the world. This Cummins reman engine has 900k miles on it and I’ve literally done nothing but change the oil and put fuel I it. I ran the overhead 2x and the cams and followers look great. It dose leak a bit at the rear structure. The original clutch I put in 1m miles ago is still holding strong too.
I’m going to be going a different direction in a month or so but just wanted to give a final update on this truck.
This turned out to be a great first truck and couldn’t be any happier with it.
peace!jamespmack, Magoo1968, Midwest Trucker and 13 others Thank this. -
Oxbow Thanks this.
