    Would totally agree with that if I were running two exact truck models. But non aero truck has higher fuel consumption I believe that is the major factor for higher def usage

    With the NoX output needing to be neutralized I'd imagine around 1gal/150-200mi roughly.

    The funny thing is, the 2014+ motors hardly use any EGR ...and the NoX before it hits the SCR box is similar to pre emissions trucks.
    (Especially the fuel economy spec ratings)

    They consume a good bit of DEF but it's a good trade off for minimal EGR and longer engine life.
