I've already told my DM I think the new company driver pay is a scam. Before we got the same cpm for ALL miles, loaded and mty. Now all mty miles are at your base rate and loaded fluctuates depending on distance. In the end I feel like I'm still taking home the same money for 2800-3000 miles a week.

I like working for Swift overall, don't get me wrong, but after a few years the glitter and BS is wearing thin. Don't even get me going on the ludicrous driver ranking system. You can sugar coat a t@rd all you want but it still smells the same.

Im seriously considering regional companies out of Houston. Better pay, faster trucks with APUs, one dispatcher and get home on the weekends. It's all starting to look better and better.

I understand that, but new contract, new lease, and for us, yes, a option. FR8 Monkey, I thought that you would have a answer to that question a lot sooner than 4 weeks since you have a decision to make very soon.

I honestly do not know. If I found a local job on Monday I'd turn in my truck and walk away. As it is I'm VERY reluctant to just walk away without a backup. If I had the resources to buy my truck outright and take it elsewhere that might be an option. Right now my #1 priority is to be home with my family. Every since my brother died 4 months ago being away from my family SUCKS! Swift's games and BS have just made it much harder to take.
