I saw one of our 579s heading West in North Dakota couple days ago. Looked cool, but the sleeper's too small for my liking...

they are actually pretty roomy. I can barely tell i'm pulling 80,000 pounds which is really nice.

Well hot da^n! Guess I'm an experienced driver now!! Though, just moved up from a mid-roof ProStar to a Cascadia. Wouldn't want to go back to a smaller truck though, even if it is shiny and new...

I guess "not that small" is all relative... It sure doesn't have as much head room as this Cascadia! Which was a big improvement from the Prostar. I sure wouldn't want to team or be a trainer in a smaller truck. If I was only in it for a couple weeks, it'd probably be alright, but out for 6-8 weeks, I need lots of space. I trained in one of the T700s, now THAT is a roomy truck! Tons of storage too...

The Volvo 770 with the fold out table is nice. I drove one of those for a bit.

I miss my 579 Pete at May. I'm in a mid-roof Volvo now. Plenty of room for me since I'm home every weekend and once during the middle of the week. I'm trying to convince the owner where I work to order a few of the 386 mid-roof Petes with the Eaton 13 speed & Cummins 450. I think the leases on the Volvos save a lot of money for him, so, not sure he'll go for it.
