6mpg in a stinger is awesome! I never got that with the M11 I had in my Sterling. Of course, 84K# was more the norm than the exception.![]()

I started out at roughly 5 running hard and it has consistently come up. Between the engine breaking in and changing my driving habits and loading the first unit facing forward when possible I am now averaging right below or at 6. Had my first tank over 6 last week with warmer temps. Some people don't believe in them, but the fleet air filters helped push me over the 6 hurdle in my opinion. My truck seems to breathe and pull better under a load with them.

I saw where you have used the all position tire on the drives like I do. Have you used the Michelin XD2 on your drives? I was thinking about putting these on my drives when I need tires only because it is a lower rolling resistance than the XZE, but my concern is if these will wear as even as the XZE has. Every single tire on my drives and trailer is wearing evenly on the XZE. I might be better off to keep doing what I have, but you don't know until you try.

The wear rates on the drives pretty much eliminates irregular wear, no matter the tire. Besides the better traction in mud/snow, I think the xd2's have a deeper tread, too. They're what we normally have on drives.Banker Thanks this.
