Opened 2 weeks ago after a remodel of the old Shell gas station/truck stop.
All new pumps, resealed the parking lot, remodel interior and bathrooms. Never had a problem getting a pump when it was Shell, but put a Pilot sign up and now there is a line and the parking lot full of trucks. Go figure.
Exit 94 on the South side of the freeway, but do not leave your windows down, as it is only a quarter mile from Hickman's chicken farm. Flies are in abundance there!! The smell isn't that great either.

Put up a neon sign and theyll flock to it like moths to a flame.

I used to park at an old run down place on i20 east of Dallas at the 533 in Canton.
No one hardly ever in there. Always had a spot!!
Pilot put a sign up.... FORGET IT.

Still the same old dump. No remodel.
    Crap hole from Hell.
Full as a tick suckin' on a dogs ear.

    JC1971 and Bakerman Thank this.

That truck stop in Tonopah pretty much always had parking late at night if you didn't want to go to the TA--and quiet, too. Not too thrilled that it's another Peelot.

    Bakerman Thanks this.
