New Potential Trucker Need advice

    You will find a job, just keep applying. I have known a few guys that found jobs with worse records then yours. Oilfield jobs might be the way to go.
    My Yamaha R1 will smoke all of your cars on the big end.

    Remember, its not necessarily the trucking company that frowns on a record like yours, but rather the insurance company whos rates will skyrocket. You may offer to pay all or a portion of the increased premium.

    You also need to look at it from a companies point of view... why take a chance with someone having a record like yours when there are many right behind you with a clean record. Realize this on interviews and be prepared to talk about it.

    Two years ago is not that long. Your record reflects that of a led footed druggie... just one that hasn't been caught for a couple years.

    You cant change the past so now that youre a professional... start acting like one.

    And by the way.. I thought paraphernalia was legal... afterall its sold in stores. It becomes illegal after the first use that leaves residue.

    The potential company you want to work for may not realize like you and I do, that no one would cop to owning such so everyone was charged. Cstch my drift here pal?
