NEW RAND MCNALLY 740 COMING IN MAY

thats my biggest fear after having 2 lemon 730's not Marks fault but im thinking somewhere in hardware quality control at the time it may have been an issue, its out now according to RM's facebook, do i dare get the 740

 

And yet I'm at the Petro about to buy one

 

I saw Rand Mcnally announced the overdrive 8 pro for trucks. I'm sort of confused by it as you know it's going to be more expensive than the TND 740, yet not have the full functionality of the rand mcnally tablets,which only cost $100 more than the 740.

 

Dunno i say an ad for one at Loves, but i have built in SiriusXM so i really don't need that ,

anyway purchased a 740 this afternoon, so ill post some initial thoughts soon

I'm going to purchase a 740 in the coming days. Don't know if they come with any transition instructions? Would like to transfer my address book data from my 730 over to the 740. Does the 740 use the same Dock software as the 730?

 

No, the 740 is Android and the Dock will not transfer the data.
