If none taken, then yes you will be okay.

If you started a 34 hour break Monday morning at midnight, you could not start another one till Monday morning at Midnight.

If you started the week with a full 70 coming off of a restart, you should be okay. In the future, you will have to watch the times and days.

    Again.

You started the day Monday morning with a full 70. You had 10 hours left. When did you go off duty to start the 34 hour break?

If you are still on the break now, you will have a restart available Sunday monrning.

It means that if you went on the break say at 7 pm Friday night, you cannot start another 34 hour restart until next Friday night at 7 pm. You can start later, but not any earlier.

It should be noted that just because you took a 34 hour restart does not mean you have to count it as one. For example, this week I had the 4th off, I finished up at 4PM on Wednesday and didn't come back to work until 5:30AM Friday. In that time frame I got a legal 34 hour restart. However, since I knew I would have the weekend off, I declined to count it as a 34 hour restart so the one I get from Friday evening to Monday morning will be the one that counts instead, giving me a full 70 hour clock at the beginning of my workweek.

You will meet the reset quite well.

Your 34 hour reset must have 2 periods of 1 am to 5 am. This will be met on Sunday morning.

    You will have 70 hours.

You must mark on the log that it is a reset. You have to make an election or it reverts to the recap.

I have been running on the new laws for a couple of weeks to get used to it when it was not required.
