I'm not trying to fit in with the trend. I've seen a lot of foreign drivers wearing them out here, but I still haven't felt the urge to invest in any. It's strictly sneakers and boots for me

Id post a link to the youtube clip bonehead truckers did of all the guys taking dumps, pissing in, showering in or otherwise doing nasty things in the parking lot. All the spilled chemicals, all the trailers being swept out with sharp pointy things and so on. But im unsure if that crosses the line.....

Now that said, who in their right #### mind would want to walk across a truck stop parking lot in that condition with anything less then fully enclosed at least 6" boots. And even then flip flops are great....right up until you run over your toes with a pallet jack with several thousand pounds on it. Bye bye toes. Or any other skin it hits or your ankles or heel.

Im with mack here. Only pigs wear flipflops. And yes i know the OP is being funny but flipflops are one of those things that peg a driver as a slovenly uncultured untrained uncaring pig 9 times out of 10, and the 1 time is usually a guy wearing a foot brace.
