Then that means maybe more safety but LESS comfort. Not to mention just how SMALL that little box gets when you have to drag someone around with you! I never could team for more than a couple runs, male or female.
...waidaminnit, somehow that didn't sound right...I meant driving!

sorry I didn't make it clear that I plan to be a team driver with my husband...but you all had very clear point of view about the fact I should be ready to spend the night alone at the truck stop or not be a driver...
my next question is... Is that because you think it is safe for a woman? Would you advise your wife, sister, daughter that it would be something she could do on her own?

Thanks for your input, honestly. Most women I have come across so far have been team drivers and not out there on there own.

Absolutely! There is no problem with a woman being out there on her own. Just be aware of your surroundings, but that applies anywhere.

I would definitely send my daughter, sister, wife out in the world thats part of being a woman. Because i know if she's my daughter, i have taught her to be a independent person and she'll be able to stand on her on two feet without a man to depend on. The same applies to my sister, i know my father or mother have install values and responsiblity in her to be able to stand on her own two. As for my wife whenever i do get married, i definitely dont want a wife that can not defend and stand on her on two. A needed woman turns me off, but hey some guys like needed women. Whatever floats your boat.

Do 2 nights in the truck. Then next week inform Werner that you are due your motel stay retroactively.

I hope you love your hub and he loves you VERY much. Because being crammed nonstop together...well, you can find a lot of anecdotes on that. I pray it works out for you.
That truck only LOOKS big the first couple days.

Are you sure you want to be a truck driver ? Trust me, you've got years of BS headed your way. This is just the beginning of a wonderful new career.

Being out there on my own is something I have done most of my driving career -minus 3 yrs I teamed with hubby. I was a solo driver for 3 yrs before I met him. I started back when it was not very common to see a female solo driver. Use your head and be aware of the surroundigs. Common sense plays a very big part.
