Keep updating how the class goes. I always wondered what they teach in the "train the trainers" class.

Well 6 months over the road driving Experiance surely isn't a whole lot of time behind the wheel. You are still in rookie status and want to train. I read back and saw other people advising you against mentoring simply because you are still a rookie yourself. And you got very defensive and thought everyone advising you against it was attacking you. Well In my reading of this thread I didn't sense any attacking towards you, just some friendly advise. There is a lot more to trucking than just driving down the highway all day and knowing how to back in at a receiving dock or truck stop a couple times a week. Also if you get upset so easily at people then mentoring defenitly is not for you. There will be many times you get trainees that are know it alls and don't want to hear your directions especially if your new yourself you will not get the respect from these trainees, trust me on this.

Hey the debate is closed. Let it go. Go about your lives, live happy and prosper, and all that. Im about to enjoy some pancakes! I love pancakes and bacon. Do you know what they do to cows and chickens and the earth to get hamburgers and chicken to us. Interesting study. Oh I'm off topic, but yeah let it go; Thanks, much appreciated.

I don't know much about Tn but with any move to a new job, make sure you have all the paperwork that they say you need and more if you had any traffic violations or had anything medical done and take medication. Continue to study if you can and save some funds before you make the jump. If you don't have your permit yet study, study, study. You are doing it it right if you are on this site. Good luck to you!
