NEW/Student Driver

Did you go to a school? If so do they have a placement office? I graduated from Roadmaster and they gave me a list of companies probably 50 that either are oil field or local here in Texas. Now there is no guarantee they will hire me but they will look at me if they have a position open for a recent grad driver. Also, with the over the road companies ie USX, TMC, Mav, etc. they have all the hiring requirements. I remember them pointing out TMC will only take a person with a dui if it is 10 years or older and the person had to be 23 or younger at the time of dui. If you went to a school with a placement office they would probably be able to give you a list of companies will to look at you with the drug charge. Anyways, good luck.

Other than that, you may have to do OTR for 6 or 12 months, then you can find a local or regional job. Always ignore any hiring requirements and apply anyway; companies bend their own hiring rules. If they have online applications, do those, then wait a couple of days and follow with a phone call.
