New Student needs advice

That STILL doesn't mean you have 13 years experience. lol No comparison being a kid sitting "behind the wheel" or even driving on farms, etc.
I have operated CMV's on the road since I was 21 years old (I'm 59 now), but nearly all were B class, including 80,000 lb GVWR concrete mixers.
This was before they even had "CDLs".
But I still list only 2 years Class A truck driver experience because I've only driven a semi for 2 years.

And Tony is not correct. It's well known he has played "Doctor", but prior to him having his son.

 

Mesilla Valley will take grads....from their school. I applied there when I refreshed my license and they told me to come back in a year. I guess maybe they've upped it to two years due to their csa score.

Trucking is my life. My dad is a truck driver. All of my uncles are truckers. All of my cousins drive trucks. I'm currently going to vocational school for diesel repairs. This month, having cdl and inspection class.

 

Schneider hires and trains right out of school for all divisions, OTR, dedicated and tank. System Transport hires "newbies" and trains for flatbed.

 

Try oilfield trucking water hailing and tubi.g and rod transport. 5here is an oilfield in ft. Lupton and north. Also there is one in craig, rifle, parachute, rangely, and grand junction
