Yes. Swift paid for 3 days while waiting for 1st mentor, then they paid for 4 days while waiting for a new mentor (after they fired the 1st one) and now 4 days while my current mentor is on home time.

So answer is yes they are paying for home time. Granted I am in Las Vegas, but it sux that I have no money to gamble with....

Can swift advance you some money??? Or maybe that would be a bad thing. I quit calling that town Las Vegas and started calling it LOST WAGES along time ago....

 

Well it's good to know everything turned out ok and you had a good experience. I am going to be coming on with Swift on 3/19. I hope my experience is just as good. I have already tried out two other trucking companies and did not have good experiences with them. I am hoping Swift will be better. Thanks for posting this Diary it gives me hope!

 

Good luck to you! Hang in there--i been with swift over a year now and couldnt be happier with them. They have been good to me so far. I was an experienced driver when i came on and ran solo for almost a year but now team with my son. I have no intentions of leaving anytime soon--maybe go L/O in the future but am happy with swift so far. If you have issues-go to your DM-he can usually help fix it. Good luck!
