    Finally the right time of my life has come and allowed me to do what I have always wanted. I grew up in the trucking industry so I go into this with eyes wide open. :biggrin_2554:
    For those that want to berate me with their opinion that I made a mistake by going with the company that I did. Remember I did not ask for your opinion. I made my decision based on a year of research and know the history but put more weight on where they are heading.
    Any advice about OTR is more than welcome. :biggrin_25514:

    I will be doing all 48. Not sure yet on the truck, still need to do my 6 weeks with the mentor. Probably a Colombia though. Seems to be the norm.

    My son started training the end of July;he got his truck the end of September.They gave him an 07 volvo ,after he tore a mirror off they put him in a 09 international,everything works on it.I just don't understand why Swift takes the APU out of every truck that they buy;it seems penny wise and pound foolish.He hasn't had to idle yet he's got a minus zero sleeping bag and the weather has been comfortable so no need to idle yet.

    The mentor my son had was great,a former marine with 10 years driving experience;wish you luck in getting a good mentor!
