if it keeps shutting off, take it to the shop. logging in is done with a "d" before your driver code, the same code you use on the kiosks. e.g. "d123456" (not my real driver code).

Here's a pic of mine on the dash. Not really in the way, it just takes up space on the dash. I know some people ITT wanted to see what it looked like.
Anyways, seems like it's working....now. If it acts up more I guess I'll have to go into the shop.Injun Thanks this. -
I thought I had a lot of stuff on my dash wheeeew. My cb has a hole up top though and my qc is similar location but down and to the right a little. I got the same sirius receiver, best thing I've ever bought.

makin' me look like a slob. qualcom was where tablet is. i preferred to have my gps/e-logbook/sat radio controller/mp3 player up there rather than the mildly retarded qualcom. it was easy to adapt the bracket to hold the tablet and it's a great location.

For those of you who have a Volvo and they mount it by the steering wheel you better invest in some Velcro. Mine came completely off the dash mounting bracket and all and crushed my 44OZ cup of coca cola and sent coke all over the place.
Hit me in the knee as I was driving down a mountain grade at night. Where they install it is on a plate that comes loose and when you hit the right bump that thing is going to come flying at you.
Took to the shop in Denver and they told me the only thing I could do was keep it on the floor. I bought some Velcro and put in back on the dash and now will not come loose again.. Crazy place to install it as heavy as it is. -
Not going on my dash....if I ever get one. It can be mounted on the side of the seat, right where this one is...or to the cabinet behind the seat.
But not on my dash. It looks awful and I don't want the distraction. -
If I get a truck that has that thing mounted there I'm sure it wont be there even if there is a bracket I'll keep it in the dummy seat like I always did before.
