    I would think that the vapor recovery line would vent the trailer for a pump unload. Cracking the dome lid or otherwise venting the trailer would introduce air into the mix. The purpose of vapor recovery is to keep air from mixing with flammable vapors decreasing the chance of an explosion. You probably should get some training on that trailer and not rely on this board for that type of info.

    Your right, you are expected to work. But compared to other Bulk carriers the cost of doing business is considerably less than most. I have been doing this enough years to understand the hidden costs and the benefits associated with leases.

    Supposedly the price at the OC is the same as the PFJ after our discount, but you don't pay the $1 service fee on the fuel card. In the end you save $1.00 but don't get the points.

    Agreed. Vapor recovery can be touchy. I have used it only once ever.
