I realize miles are not high in the bulk division. What are the other ways you guys are paid. and what percentage of your pay is it(like loading unloading,etc..)?

 

basically that is it, miles plus load/unload pay of course there are all these metrics and milestones u have to meet to get your bonus....plus a lot of love....being in Schneider Bulk is like being a part of a cult, u have to believe to keep motivated while u hope the next pretrip is more miles then the last trip or that u don't end up at a customer that doesn't know how much is in their tank and u don't have a spill or that the address is right and u are not wandering around neighborhoods looking for the sewage facility....pretty much your reward is all about your own pride and ego....yup satisfaction is belonging to the Bulk cult....

 

Most tank guys I know make decent millage rate, but really get another 1/3 in access pay. I don't work for SNI bulk and I'm also an O/O, but here's some items we get paid for. Things like pump/comp pay, dmrg (2 hrs free @ customer and 1 hr at rail) and some places pay hose pay or special fitting pay and in transit heat.

 

Better pay I bet
