Those tires really saved you some serious coin didn't they.

Forgot to calculate future hood costs, rims, service calls etc. lmao

I'd rather run a quality cap than a Chinese tire.

I wouldn't run a cap on my steers but there's no law that says you can't. Lots of garbage truck companies, cement trucks run caps on the steers. I realized his was a steer tire - was commenting along the lines of guys who say they'll put Chinese on their trailers and drives instead of caps. Everyone I've ever known who runs Chinese doesn't get any life out of them. Would have been much cheaper over the life of a tire to pay higher upfront cost for a longer lasting better tire. Trying to find a Chinese one that's anywhere near round is a challenge also. I wouldn't run a cap on my steers but there's no law that says you can't. Lots of garbage truck companies, cement trucks run caps on the steers.

New Virgin Tire Made in China,Taiwan, Russia, India or out in space > Recrap

You pay for what you want. If you love damaging your equipment and buying mudflaps especially in hot summer days, recrap is the way to go.

I only Run Bridgestone or Good Year on drive and Yokohama,Toyo, Michillen or even Kelly on Steer, on the trucks. Our Step Deck Trailers, we only put New Chinese Tires that last 1 1/2 to 2 years easily with zero problem even on our 3 axel SD for heavy weight. No point of putting brand tires unless we find a deal. 110 Psi and every 6 month rotate.

Caps are not allowed to be used as steers on Busses or emergency vehicles but you can run them on anything else

To me just NEW tires. I bought truck and in three months in business, I changed SEVEN recaps. I spent soooo much money on fixing the problems ,that were caused by these blow outs ... I could buy new michellines at the start and save money.
