Hello all,
I've been using the forum for nearly a year now (used for research on trucking jobs) but this is my first post. I've been driving now for approx 12 months. I started with Central Refrigerated and decided 6 months later that Schneider was a better fit for me. If anyone has questions about Central or Schneider's western regional home run/ los angeles local intermodal please feel free to ask. I'll do my best to answer. I'm looking forward to posting more and chatting with everyone.
Richard Rodriguez.

Welcome aboard, Richard. We are glad that you found us. Please feel free to share your knowledge of the two mentioned companies in the Company DAC section. I'm sure that it would be helpful to many other people considering these companies.

Hello and Welcome to the forum

Thank you all for the welcomes. Everett, I can't say anything about swift, but Schneider has been very good to me. There is always someone to talk to and they treat you like a person. There planning is very good. Only twice did I have to sit for a day waiting for a load while I was western regional. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

That's a good deal when it comes to home time. If you go with Schneider make sure you communicate. They are very big on communication. Also, hard work pays off with them. I only did 4 of the 6 months of my required time on western regional befor going local. I had no late loads and I believe that helped me when I wanted to change fleets.
