Hi all, new to the forum. I have driven for 30 years but none in the last three. Did LTL for Overnite Trans. and Fedex Freight for the last 17 years that I was driving. Trying to get back into LTL but if not thinking maybe a tanker. I know that being out of one for the last three years hurt me though.

Welcome to the party!

Good to meet you.

Being out of the seat for three years, you'll probably have to go through a refresher course unless you can get hooked up with a smaller outfit that can be more flexible.
-
Welcome and good luck coming back in. You already know from working for LTL companies how stringent their hiring criteria is. You are going to have to get some seat time somewhere else somehow I'm sure..three years is quite a while and wont meet veritable recent requirements that will be needed. All you can do is toss out some applications and go from there. Good luck.

Welcome to the forum!
There's plenty of folks that have left the industry only to come back after a year or even a few years. Refresher courses will be on the menu.
Good luck to you!bullhaulerswife Thanks this. -
