Well it depends:
- What company?
- What are you hauling? (20's/40's/53's)
- What type of pay? (mileage, percentage, hourly). -
JB Hunt
53's i believe
and mileage .55 cpm - .58 cpm (haven't started yet) -
Try to hop on their local division if possible.HalpinUout Thanks this. -
as for the pay, that i can get in writing and it is regional dedicated out of KC MO. The pay is part of i pilot program for veterans just out of cdl school.
-
then by all means, go for it and i wish you the best of luck my friend. JB HUNT is a good company depending on where and what state you run out of.
As far as intermodal.... its a whole new ball game.
- Railyards
- Chassis's
- Tires
- Annoying drivers in railyards.
- DOT Troopers/Weigh stations will often pull you over or pull you in as intermodal containers are highly targeted. -
Never listen to a recruiter they lie lie lie! Rails are fun lol. Jk always check your chassis and lights. Ive only been working at hub group for a month.
-
& must i mention, JB Hunt has the best equipment. so it's a plus.
