Made it through TNT. Had to switch trainers with about 12000 miles to go because I just couldn't stand my first trainer any more. Best thing I did, got along with the second one stop much better. Upgraded last week, got a 2014 International and loving it.

I work for myself now, but it says "Prime" on the trailers I pull. Yep, all trucks have APUs, although if you get a new one it may take a bit to get the list down to the point that your appointment to get one installed comes up.

4 days wasn't enough Imho..But oh well i even showed the guy i was progressing...Tried Wednesday..didn't make it...Thursday studied even harder...Passed Combination missed the other two...Come friday..I finally get Air breaks which i scored the highest on...93 of course..I get to firggen General Knowledge....I missed it with 5 questions left! i was almost to 40! so basically i got a C instead of a B.I was pissed off to no end.....I even talked to him piratically begged him to let me stay(Showed him my score even) To prove that i wasn't just some slacker slacking off ya know? a few days the extra weekend of studying i'm certain i would've got it!

A couple of folks suggested i stay another hotel for the next few days...I was man Veterans day is Monday (IE..Today),plus i was already low on money as it is...so i packed and went home that night..got back to Tyler,Tx Saturday morning..My Recruiter said when i got it here give her a call..I'm the not kind of Person to give up easily.

Wow Kjones85. I Sorry to hear about your tests. I would have been totally devastated and cried like a girl but I am a girl so it works for me.

I have some friends who went through Prime's program a couple years ago and that first week it brutal so I knew ahead of time that I need to get my permit before I get to orientation.

I'm currently dealing with health issues but as soon as the docs clear me which is going to be a while as I've had some complications and I'm in the hospital even as I type this. Probably going to be a few more months for me.

Anyway my point. When you get back home make a schedule and study study study. Take online tests and note which questions you miss. Keep going over the info until you can pass all of the required + endorsements you want. Most states will not transfer hazmat so that one you can add on later. It is a good idea to get it eventually tho as the more you have the more marketable you become.

I found the program on trucking truth to be helpful for me as it stops me if I get to a point where I'm missing too much. There are quite a few websites that offer practice tests also including this one. Test as much as you can. It will help you learn and will reduce anxiety. You can do this and I'm rooting for you. This is just a little bump in the road.
