New to site and need some help

I am glad to be a part of this message board and joined in the hopes of learning much! Here's my story. I was born and raised on a farm and still have active interests in all aspects of agriculture. I have driven equipment back and forth over the roads and even learned how to drive my own big rig hauling grains. I have made the statement many times that part of EVERY person getting a driver's license ought to be the requirement of physically driving a combine or tractor trailer down a road and deal with traffic! I am sure there are some "characters" driving the rigs, but most are great people and are good at what they do. I truly respect the rigs and even do what I can on the highways to respect the drivers and help in any way.

So, with all of that being said, here is where I need help. I would like to do the escorting work for freight being moved. I don't know if I need to drive for a escort service or simply start on my own, but I need help. I want to be clear that I am not promoting my business as I don't have one!! I simply just need some advice on how to start. Can any of you my new friends give me any advice? Tell me where and how to start. I would greatly appreciate it! bandit123
