Hi, I am a new owner of a truck and LLC. I have some local loads I need done in Kern County, CA. I am in need of a driver. Would any of you know how I can find a Class A driver? I have been searching with no luck. Any advice and help is appreciated.
    Thank you

So you already have a truck and work? But just need a driver.

Why enter this industry when drivers are hard to find?

you should have had a driver first then get the truck.

I've ZERO ideas apart from placing such request in a few places or at/in Truck Stops, Craigslist, related.
We have a neighbor who owns 2 Road Tractors, drives 1 occasionally and parked another on his front yard claiming when he finds a Driver, he or she will drive it.
It's been sitting STILL about 1.6 years.

Hope You Soon Find a Reliable Someone!

Drivers are in incredibly high demand right now.

Well-established companies are raising their pay rates they're extending their benefits they're extending vacation days they're competing with bigger and bigger bonuses to attract drivers.

Not to be an a-hole, but I hope you have a brand-spanking-new truck I hope you're going to pay well over $100,000 a year I hope you have the best medical benefits anybody could find I hope you have a 401k and you will at the very least match it or double it I hope that you have work out the Wazoo I hope that you can pay your drivers for every holiday and give them several weeks of vacation pay and sick pay and personal pay because that's the only way you're going to compete...

And even then you still are going to have a hard time.

We probably won't hear back from you but I think we'd all really like to hear your business plan and how you got involved in all of this...
