I heard today that Maverick is extending their contract if you go through their sponsored training from one year to two years. So if you go through their school then you will have to commit to stay with them for two years or you will have to pay them for the school.
New training and 2 year contract

Living in Missouri, look at Western Dairy Transport - www.wdtmilk.com
Some students posted they feed you like a king while in their school.
"Cabool, Missouri is the home of our original training academy. In fact, we have been educating and training drivers for dry van and smooth bore tanker operations for over twenty years. Our Cabool Academy has on staff two certified driver trainers and a complement of experienced support personnel. This facility trains drivers to serve American dairy farmers and other dairy and food processing customers throughout the United States."

BlueThunderr Thanks this. -
Thanks for that info but I've already been approved with Maverick and I really want to give them a go. I'm thinking I will get my CDL on my own before I go down there though. Have you heard anything about the CDL school at State Fair Community college in Sedalia, MO? It's real close to where I live.

Not familiar with State Fair Community College. Most community colleges have outstanding cdl programs though.

What can you tell me about WDT? What are the requirements to start with them? I’m looking to get into trucking and live in SEMO any information would be greatly appreciated
