I went thru the SNI school back in 2003 and loved it. As the years went on, things got less and less like they were and heard horror stories about their orientation process. Glad they decided to restructure it and maybe go back to the old ways. Schneider is a good company and I will always suggest them to any newbie.

Yeah, I have nothing but good things to say about SNI add well. Good, fair company.
-
What kind of training or trucking did you have before going to SNI?
-
Yea, they were good. But they get lost in all these new systems. They start Workflow without enough support staff for the system. I sat 4 days in one week. Two in a truck stop in Arkansas, two in Houston Terminal. Houston couldn't help me because the events in workflow were arranged wrong. It takes hours upon hours to get these events arranged just so you can get out of the gate to go get a trailer that doesn't leak. Plus my so called DBL was always unavailable. I believe I will pass on that. With Don gone I don't see anything good happening. See Ya

Was your dbl a 12 year old with no trucking experience like the ones I have ?.
Ive also noticed the "do as I say,not as we do" rule applies to all drivers here.
Im a" little" thrown off by what flies daily driving here.

Sorry if you don't find it real informative. It's more intended for people who are going to be going through the training process. Or people who are just curious.

grusco Thanks this. -
It's really great to hear you are doing well with SNI. I was supposed to start my training Feb. 21st in Charlotte, but....MIL & FIL were in a very bad car accident and I have been having to take care of them. They have no health insurance, so having to do everything! My recruiter, Mitch, was very nice and told me family comes first and once I get everything straight to call him back and I'd be in the next available class. Hope that's true! I'll be following your blog!
