Help! Was just issued brand new 2019 truck. Would like to keep it looking good. My only routine on old truck( and it looks good) was weekly wash and rub down with that Lucas "liquid shine". Never had wheels polished...just kept them clean. I' not familiar with Mother's or clay bar. Was wondering if there was anything I could keep sprayed weekly on tanks and wheels. Our lot is dirt so when it rains we have a muddy mess.
Any help appreciated, but I don't have two hours after work to spend on cleaning it as posted by someone else.

The tanks and wheels are going to oxidize over time, not much you can really do about it. I would recommend getting a good polish with a sealer in it like White Diamond or Gords. Polish those wheels and tanks about every 3 or 4 months and it will be easy, should take an hour tops if you don’t let them get too out of hand. Don’t let anyone spray acid or any type of brightener or degreaser on them. Mild soap and water only.

Drop it off at a good high quality detail shop twice a year , they will keep it looking brand new.
HorsinAround Thanks this. -
Zephyr pro 40 seems to be a decent polish to keep the aluminum shiny.

If your wheels have a dura bright coating, go to the Alcoa wheel site and take a look at what you need to do to keep them clean. They will say durabright on the rim.
