Snowwy, Snowwy, Snowwy... {sigh}
Are we seriously going to have this debate yet again??? LOL ... I said it was a good map, I actually like it as a simple routing app... But I don't see any additional "value" between the car version ($10) and the truck version ($150).
And to yes answer your question, yet again, yes, I want trucker related bells and whistles.... Why oh why do you insist to know what I possible need or want or in a GPS product???
If you get by with CoPilot and a few free apps, awesome, great, but if you want or need a GPS built for Trucking then CoPilot is NOT it.
If all you need is a basic map routing app, then get the $10 Car GPS App (it's very good for cars) and don't waste the extra $140 for the "trucker" version because it will route you under low bridges, over weak bridges, and right through Atlanta where all trucks are supposed to go around and not through the city.
As always, you are entitled to your opinion and I respect that you have different views than I do but at times I swear you must be fully and solely invested in CoPilot for your retirement.
Peace my friend... Stay Safe!!!![]()

The best GPS is what you have between your ears.
Trust me I ran rand GPS with laptop until 2001 and I was one of the original users of that tech when it first hit retail.
Hate to say it but I once got penned up inside a 40 acre cell tower that was built and landscaped over a roadway in delaware in very heavy fog one morning. The road was buried and they paved a new access route connection another 500 yards north east. I followed the laptop screen through the right turn until I find myself on grass facing a fence. The fog was that thick.
Again I encourage you to follow your mind, sometimes updates do not come in rapid enough to suit. -
But I agree, one must use common sense in combination with any tools being used.scottlav46, Landincoldfire and x1Heavy Thank this. -
I've never had a problem with copilot steering me wrong. Only when I tried to be smarter then gps have I ran in to problems. so I stopped. I won't say it's perfect. but it's the closest.
I also so use my brain and eyes. I've had a few streets. But most of the times it's where I needed to be. Never had a problem with bridges and what not. I tried the more expensive brand and I've heard same experiences with other drivers. the extra money just wasn't worth it. The bells and whistles were all right. But the routing needs to be more optimized. And not get lost in a town not knowing where to go. Had to use Google navigation to get me out of there. -
I would use CoPilot in a car, and buy the $10 if I didn't already have the $150 Truck version. I would even use, and do use, it in my truck. After buying the RM730 I even have a greater use for it as a decent Mapping App.... But for truck specific applications.... Nope.
So I actually use, and like, both.
But for different uses and applications. -
Someone needs to come up with a Waze type truck routing app.
I have no problem paying for something that works. My overall experience with Co-pilot has been good. (It likes to lock up if I stop mid route for to long but I haven't dug into the issue yet) Trucker Path and Co-pilot working together on one app would be interesting.MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this. -

Okay, I downloaded the One20 app and signed up somewhat for a membership.
I still don't get the purpose of the app. Right now I see it as a point of interest map. But most places it shows doesn't provide truck parking. It lacking tons of information on these spots but seeing it's brand new, it's understandable. When one does choose to navigate it basically gives the user a choice of Google maps or Co-pilot and exits the app. The latter will require downloading of maps. Their actual app seems a little clunky and I'm using it on a Note 4. -
I stopped using it as soon as they required a sign in... Let me at least see the product before requiring my email and name.

You have to sign up to use copilot. One20 is no different. Specially since IT IS copilot. It needs to fine tuned also. I don't know how long the installation took. I went to bed. And there's no power button to shut it down like copilot has. But hey, it's free. At the moment anyways.
