New truckstops

It started long before that was common. The only ones that seem to keeping the restaurants are the ones that made the restaurant a centerpiece of the stop to begin with.

That T/A restaurant, outside Wheeling, WV, was absolutely packed, the last time I was in there. I hope it’s still the same, today.

I go by the Little Nashville Restaurant, in Nashville, IL, everyday. I hope the number of trucks in the lot are patrons. It’s a good restaurant.

 

Those are two of my many favorites out here, and are among a fairly long list of places with good food and truck parking that I get into somewhat regularly. Sometimes even right in the middle of my day. I can usually still run all 11 hours if I feel like it after stopping to eat at the Stage Stop, Dysarts, Crane's Country Store in MO, or sometimes even just a Cracker Barrel close to some place I can park this turd.

Putting my money where my mouth is and acting like a trucker, today. Meatloaf was outstanding!

 

That's a good place. I have taken a 34 there several times.

 

I've never stopped there, looks like a dump outside. Maybe I should check it out. Do they have showers or no?

 

Not sure. I’ve only ever eaten at the restaurant.
