How would you pay for this 200K truck?

The front end is ok looking but my god the side view is just horrible. I think that the current design looks a lot better.

That's the price if you pay CASH. With interest, probably $300,000. I don't see how an O/O can pay that much for a piece of equipment that they have no control over what they can charge for their services. Trucking is all supply vs. demand. The MARKET says what you can charge. Also, the guy with the old cabover gets the same as you. Trust me, I see it at Amazon. FWIW, this is coming from someone who never paid more than $48,000 for a truck until this 2020 Cascadia @ $70,000.

I don’t think that trucks have gone up that much honestly. In 2017 I paid 147k for a new cascadia so 8 years later a new Volvo being 200k is not bad. But that’s just me

I remember when you could buy a brand new, fully loaded, heavy spec tandem daycab for $140k Canadian.......

In 2001 my brother paid $110k for a flat top Pete with a 600 Cat and I thought he was crazy.

It's nuts. 25 years ago a guy could buy a brand new tridrive and tridem pole trailer off the lot for like $225k Canadian. Nowadays you're probably looking at $450k for that.

Same way as I am paying for this truck. Not that hard to pay for a 200k truck to be honest. I normally drive about 3 weeks a month and would be able to do the same thing. With a bigger gain in mpg’s it would most likely be cheaper than I have now.

Know your market and you can make plenty to pay for it and live decent.
