I always check here first. 1994 Detroit Series 60 here. i have been noticing low coolant in the reservoir. Put on a new reservoir cap as the old plastic one was cracked. Had put on a Fleet Pride exchange reman water pump in June 2019.

I also noticed a small wet spot under the rig. Weep hole perhaps?

Also there is coolant on the pump. The water line is wet in the picture. What do ya'll think?.

    Thanks! 20201031_203321.jpg 20201031_203222.jpg 20201031_203936.jpg

Looks like the seals in the back of the water pump behind the big snap ring ,look at the very bottom of the water pump for the weep hole

    RubyEagle Thanks this.

Ten weep hole seemed dry just greasy. Streaking beacon never hits it during the engine wash. Idid notice this on the rad pipe. Looks like it has been getting on there somehow.

Actually l wonder if it is that fitting on the top of water pump that seems to be wet and leaking. I wonder if the entire fitting should be replaced or does it just look loose to you all? Can it be tightened? I see the red coolant sitting on both sides of it. Thanks!

Turn it to right just like putting a cap back on the wine bottle, except I never did that!
