Your a better man then me, i'm pretty good at keeping my mouth shut, but with all the time they wasted of yours, the BS ticket, the tow truck, the attitude, and the mystery broken valve I would have ended up in jail

I'm a real advocate of filming L.E. while they're working. They do it, we should be able, too. BUT, be cautious- Governors of some states have prosecuted people filming L.E. officers by using a law intended to prosecute wiretappers. It's complicated but if you film without sound, you're usually safe. I'll dig for the link, but it's been awhile- might not be able to find it.
NOW- please accept my admiration for having the JUEVOS to do the right thing. You Sir, are a brave man, and "Thank You" for standing up for us all. Good Job !

 

LOL next time dont stop where they are doing the inspections. Sad that they ran you threw the gambit like that.

Im going to do a little research... I seem to remember a story from a few years back about NY DOT officers running a little scam of putting drivers out of service and their local repair buddies setting up shop repairing all the trucks right there in the rest area.

I could be fuzzy on the details on whether it was an actual news story, or trucker talk around here or the lunch counter... However I distinctly remember New York and their rest area inpection setup being at the heart of the story.

 

This needs some major press, and to have some management level people made aware...

 

All the more reason to stay out of that State.
