    BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will be turning my ticket into the folks at TVC ProDriver. They have been fairly decent in defending minor infractions in the past. Got a speeding ticket dismissed so hopefully they can deliver the same results here. It would be nice to bring that service line into a courtroom and get a judges or jury's opinion:biggrin_25514:

sorry dude but that line is kinked and that is a no no. maybe she used the wrong terminology with crimped, but either way that line needed to be replaced. its no different than a hose that has scuff marks or chaffed. its a bingo for them.

as for how they treated ya, i am not commenting on that either way.

As i see in your pics the line does have a small crink in it and that will get you every time if they see it thats why i run rubber air line. On another note Ny dot cops for the most part are not easy to deal with, they all seem to have an attitude toward drivers from what i have seen.

This goes to show why you stay away unless the sign says open. I've had a couple of run ins with some ####y dot's up on i-87 in New York too.

Judges and jurys are not schooled in determining whether a link is kinked or not...that's your's and the DOT man's schooling and profession.

I got inspected again 3 days later at mm109 on I-10 wb in Louisiana and decided to show the DOT man the air line and he said that it would've passed with him?!?!

I have a court date set for Sept. 26th in Wayawanda, NY....Hope I get appointed a good attorney:biggrin_2552:

Seems like a fine line between a cosmetic flaw and something that is truly a safety concern.

In for updates and good luck!
