Some do try helping with job placement, like having recruiters from different carriers show up at the school. Or just by giving you a list of carriers that hire students from the school.

PSC does help with job placement.. and just another reason to go there.

Yes they have been around since I was a teenager. I am in descent shape for 56 years old. Not sure if I could keep up with food beverage. Was a mechanic for years and got into Hvac. Body is alittle worn from both.

 

Can you lift tarps, such as 50 - 80 pounds?
If so, there's a couple flatbed companies that probably hire you right out of CDL school.

 

Yeah, might be better off with reefers OTR or Old Dominion Freight Line.
