Newb from NC

Just introducing myself. I'm a equipment operator and if things go as planned I will get my Class A on June 4th as thats the earliest I can get an appointment for the pre-trip and skills test. Got my permit a while back and my training has been behind the wheel of a log truck for a day or two a week for the past couple of months. I probably get in 250-300 miles of driving each time. Originally getting my CDL was simply a way to be a more valuable equipment operator as some of the smaller companies like their operators to be able to run a low boy or dump truck when needed. But I like trucks and have really enjoyed the driving. I can easily picture myself possibly focusing on it more. Just figured it wouldn't hurt to lurk around this site for a while
