Newb looking to join

Just wanting to say hello. Looking to join Prime Inc and go through their training process and begin my truck driving career with them. I have done some homework and reviewed a few other companies before I applied with them. All approved to get on with them, currently waiting on my taxes before I make the jump and give my two week notice at my current job.

Little about me. Im 27yo old, no wife, kids, or mortgage. Been a diesel mechanic for 8 yrs involving dealership truck mechanic, school bus mechanic, light automotive, food service, sales, and even did a short stint as an oilfield engineer. Found out early I was not cut out for that line of work at this point in my life and wanted to get into another field that has relatively high demand and a future.

Im not gleamy eyed about prospects and making money hand over first starting out as a company driver. I have been around a few other experienced truck drivers ranging from company, lease, and O/O. So I know there will be a lot of hard, thankless work, lonely nights and other various woes, but I hope to face them diligently and learn a few things and network with some new people along the way.
