pre-adjusted or rather adjusted at the factory are Francis antenna's.

I had one that adjusted itself to the proper height after it smacked a 13-6 bridge

My Screwdriver, covers 3.2 MHz-28.0 MHz. Not tried on CB but I'm sure it would work fine. On 27 mhz I use a Francis 5 footer.

A misnomer. Needs a controller to work.

TuneMatic is a self-contained antenna controller which automatically adjusts the resonant frequency of a screwdriver/motorized antenna. TuneMatic operates anywhere between 1-60 MHz, and supports a wide variety of screwdriver-type tunable antennas. TuneMatic utilizes frequency measurement, SWR detection, and antenna position to perform the proper tuning, and stores the tuning data in a series of internal reserved memory banks, based on frequency and bandwidth. The TuneMatic is independent of rig make and model and will typically support any HF rig with a PTT control line. TuneMatic is supplied with a backit wired remote button panel, which contains all the functions necessary to operate TuneMatic from the driver’s seat.

Come on guys, I know what it is, it is a rhetorical question - what is an auto-adjusting antenna?

Tunematic is ok but without knowing where the antenna is in its resonance, it is useless - too much hunting.

By the way, I use one of my screwdriver antennas on 27mhz, it works just as well as expected.
