Ok, unless I missed something, no one ever answered this question, which is one that I have as well. I know I was "told" that I couldn't go the PO box route (much as I'd like to dump this crappy lil "sleeping room") due to you can't file Federal taxes to a PO box, but the person who told me this isn't a trucker, and I'd rather hear from others with real-world experience!

Would these be "free clinics" also? Ever since my hours started evaporating back in Nov., when I dropped below 32/week, I lost my insurance and can't afford to pay for this physical...(unless I go further into hock with family/friends!)

I have my Federal taxes go to the Federal post office every year. What you can't do is have a PO Box as the address on your CDL, so you use a relatives if you go the "live in the truck" route.
DOT physicals usually run $50-100 bucks. Way back when, when I went to CDL school, they had a doc come in and give it to all the students the first day when you did your drug test, and it was included in tuition.

    Moe Rhonic Thanks this.

Thank you! Oh, would I use the same relative's address on the actual tax form? (actually I do it online with Direct Deposit, but don't remember if your address is required on there or not)

I understand your pain! I have found Prime to be the most logical choice for me... check it out: http://primeinc.com/drivers/cdl-training.html
I'm heading out this summer! Good luck!

Instead of a PO Box, get a real mailing address at a UPS Store. I had one a few years ago and it is a real street address with a number and maybe a "suite" number like: 123 Big Road, Suite 102, Soandso, State.... zip...,etc.

NOT a PO Box and ALL docs get mailed to one. No one need know it's a UPS site and they won't find out. Did it for years!

Perhaps not available in small towns, though.

Being a UPS store, would I be able to get them to "overnight" the contents of my box to me ("hold for pickup") wherever I am in the country, say, once a month? Because that's the arrangement I'll have with my brother (I'll just send him money for this through Paypal)
