When I worked for them in '08 the idle time was 15% or less. It may have changed.
Since you'll be out of Phoenix. You won't have to worry about how the previous driver
was. Phoenix shop will clear the previous driver/truck info. You'll start fresh with the truck.

i know the phoenix yard well. word of warning. you will see 40+ trailers 38 will be in for service, it is VERY hard to get a trailer

My truck has that driver rewards system software for bumping the speed, it's just not activated.
I'm averaging 6.7 mpg right now. Not bad considering all the below freezing temperatures I've been dealing with lol. -
I have a friend who does the Conway dedicated run from Phx to Fontana 4 times a week and loves it, but I know you have to be there a loooonnnnggg time to get that gravy run!!
He just purchased another truck from the fleet, he said this will be his last before he retires, I think it's a '11 Prostar.
I see Knight pulling ALOT of containers back & forth between Phx & LA, so have fun with that if you want to be home more often than not.
