My DM has made it clear that the route assignments and Qualcomm can be very much retarded in providing directions.

If we know a better way take it.

The trouble with fuel stops, is that the Qualcomm often laggs. ..

I recommend calling about 30 miles out, and be ready to call back....

I've had fuel calls want me to back track 40 miles. .... Just keep pushing forward and try again.

Have to be careful about going further.
You may not have another fuel stop very soon.

    Good point...

Make sure you start the process with at least quarter tank!

My big rookie mistake was running out of diesel on day four.

Managed to coast it into the only mom and pop shop for miles. Had big diesel sign..... But diesel pumps broken.

Spent 6 hours waiting for fuel delivery, and did a ten.

    Pretty embarrassing....

I've run out of fuel twice, but only once did I have to call for assistance.

The other time I was driving in to my fuel stop, and the truck just quit about 200 feet from the fuel island.
That was shortly after I got my current truck. The computer still thought I had 120 gallon tanks, when this truck has 100 gallon tanks.

I bought a 5 gallon fuel can, filled it up, put it in, and after a bit more time got the truck running and to the island.

Maybe the route you are considering isn't safe for trucks.
