The idle policy I can't fully remember, but its a low %, they do have apus on most trucks tho, so its easy to keep it low.
I'm glad I went with em too, I have met a few fellow frivers and they all seemed happy and busy, which is always good.

Well I spent half a day at the Lincoln terminal, then we made it down to TX for a delivery, now we are going back to MO, and who knows from there. For anyone looking at Crete, it seems like the miles are there, and its supposedly picking up still. I know we have been pretty much nonestop since I got on. Trainer is going in for time off this weekend, and they getting me a hotel room, so I will get a short break.
-
Well we are headed back to tn for trainers hometime. We got the first hazmat load since I been out here. Was kinda glad we did so I could see first hand what to do. Within another couple weeks I should be going in for my time off, and I will need to go get MY hazmat started. Another thing about Crete that I don't know if others do is reimburse for hazmat.

Back out on the road starting yesterday, first trip down mont eagle, next stop cabbage. We have a poorly loaded trailer right now, they told us to run with it. Hoping for some closed signs.

I "kinda" worked for them several years ago. I leased with Sunflower out of York, Ne. Crete bought them out...and anyway I have no complaints. Everything was run to Crete's rules....but I got plenty of miles and made a good check.

Glad to have that load done and gone. That one could been a problem if more weigh stations were open. Heading to PA in the am. Hopefully in a few days or so I will be at home for a bit.

Hey just wondering how is the actually training going for you. Are you doing most of the driving or is it split or what?

Son of a Trucker Thanks this.

Cool, one more question. I assuming you went to Crete right out of school, do you know if you have to make a certain grade in the class to be hired by crete? Someone told me you have to pass the class with a 95 or above.
-
I didn't get a 95, so apparently not. They didn't even look at my diploma. They just asked for grad date. I would think that's company wide so I don't know where they got that. Unless it used to be that way.
Son of a Trucker Thanks this.
