Not sure what school yaw are talking to but I went to T.D.I in forsyth ga. Anyway we spent the hole second day filling out apps for companys the 2nd and 3rd week of school they had a lot of recruters and drivers with there trucks stop by to talk to us. Then by the middle of the 3rd week most of us had between 9-12 prehires so we just had to sort threw and pick the best company for us. I went with a flat bed company only because they had the best trucks. Big mistake, I looked good going down the road but I was broke lol.. So after a year of that went to van an been doing it every since. But that was also over 5yrs ago so not sure how it is now but hopefully your class will be the same way because you do learn a lot quick talking to all the diff drivers.
No sure if that helps but good luck. 1st year is the hardest but it was one of the best things iv ever dun. 5yrs later an still enjoy it an can't picture doing anything eles.
