There is a pecking order at Swift. Naturally, teams will get first shot at the long loads. Teams are given preference at any company, which is how it should be. Mentors with students seem to fall second in line. Then come the L/Os. Company solo drivers are bottom of the barrel. They get all the junk no one else wants. It was very rare for me to get a load over 1000 miles. It seemed to be split half under 500 miles and half 500-1000.
