Newbie paper log question

    My guess will be the REQUIRED to take a 34 hour restart each week.

    the locals play by the same rules as the long hauls. minus the actual log unless he's over 12 hours. and if his trucks are parked for the weekend. he only gets 60/7 hours instead of 70/8.

    70 hours are for operations that roll 7 days a week.

    That is very good to know. My trainer is not well versed in the hos. In fact he hasn't filled out the gimmick book since he got here two weeks ago. He's from main office and doesn't have to pass a scale house like I will in my local area. Thank you.

    34 hr rule is not mandatory. It's up to the driver to decide whether he should use the restart depending on his available hrs
